I am so thrilled to be joining the Tobler family this school year. I was born in Tacoma, Washington, but have lived in Las Vegas since I was in the second grade. I graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and have been teaching either second or first grade classrooms for the past 7 years. Being able to have students explore, learn, and discover new ideas every day is some of my joy of being a teacher. I am looking forward to working with students and families here at Tobler.
I am pleased to share this year with your child at R.E. Tobler. I served as a long-term substitute here last year for fourth grade. However, if I have not yet met you, I look forward to doing so. Here’s a little background on me: I completed eleven years of government service with Homeland Security (during which I earned a Master's of Science in Administrative Justice & Security). Prior to that, I enjoyed eight years’ experience with York County School District in Virginia. I am a wife, mother of three, and proud grandmother of two. My passions include history, science and visiting National Parks. I look forward to partnering with you in your child’s education during the 2019-2020 school year.
I served in the US Air Force and retired after 20 years. I am a proud husband, father of three and grandfather of two. Reading and movies are my passion.
